HOPE In Motion at the Blind School

Anjali (left) is pictured with Jim Rennie, the CEO of Asian Aid USA.

She had lived her entire life tied up under the steps, and her blindness caused her to be treated like an animal–Anjali was felt to be an inconvenience that the family had to deal with. An Asian Aid staff member heard about Anjali and went to visit.

She was dirty and in poor mental and physical health. There was only one thing to do—take her in.

Now, Anjali is attending the Bobbili Blind School and shows us her beautiful smile every day. She is clean, has food, and is learning to speak, but most importantly, she is learning about Jesus and the plans He has for her life.
